Winter sun

Sometimes I think I love the beach more on a sunny winter's day than I do in the summer. Last week Mr FH and I took a walk along the beach near our new home - this lovely area is about a 10 minute walk for us oldies so not too far  but well worth it once you make the effort!!














































I'm just off to finish packing my case for my weekend away so I'll be back next week.

    Gorgeous water pictures! I agree, I think the beach is just as lovely in the winter. I especially enjoy the fall, less crowds

    Crassssssssh. I hear the waves in your photo. Your beach reminds me of Asilomar Beach in the Monterey Peninsula of California. Hmm, that would be a wonderful place to watch the meteor shower tomorrow night. Thanks for sharing!

    This is just so fabulous!~ (I also love the ocean and live nearby where such views are thankfully breathtaking as well)..,

    ..,Although, I must say your photos of the ocean waves crashing along the shoreline with a myriad of fetching ocean hues in Wintertime, no less, are second to none!
