I recently bought myself this lovely bunch of red roses (I had been to the dentist and always feel I need a little treat after going there!!) so naturally they lead to a tablescape.
A few weeks ago I had bought this placemat/napkin set from the supermarket and loved the fun colour combination of red, pink and orange. You will see the mats are double sided - one side is covered in lovely autumn toned leaves and the other has pretty stripes. I wish I had my cute orange flatware when I set this table but that was a later purchase.
Happy tablescaping to you all!
Suzy

ReplyDeleteBeautiful...love the bowls!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the summery, bright colors! I know what you mean when you say you want a treat after visiting the dentist!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colors! I love pinks and oranges together with white! Gorgeous!!! I think it's neat that you treat yourself after going to the dentist. I always feel the need to do the same after going to the "lady doctor" every year for those painful annual check-ups! :-) I tell my husband that I deserve something special for enduring the pain and humiliation! I think all women should use that as an excuse! :-) I hope you have a great weekend, Suzy!
ReplyDeleteI never think of those colours as going together but they certainly do when you do it! So vibrant and fun! The napkins and placemats look perfect with the dishes you've used! Putting a cute little bowl inside a larger one is an idea I want to try! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks they need a treat after getting through something "yucky" - for me, its that complete physical at the doc's!

ReplyDeleteDid you say orange flatware? I have been searching for ever and have never found any (except Fiesta of course) DO TELL! Orange is an amazing color.
