Everything blue at the farmhouse

I’m not sure why but I seem to be setting ‘blue’ tables lately. Not that I’m a blue person, in any shape or form but they just seem to be happening!!. I came across these lovely spotted plates recently (on sale, of course) so they just had to come home with me. I love the look of the timber table, burlap runner, woven mats and the twisted willow. Just to bring out the blue I packed blue and white hydrangeas into a little bird cage.

Isn’t it funny how photos change the colours of some things and not others. The candles and wine glasses looked brown in real life but are appearing purple in the photos. Lucky it’s not summer here in Australia because I think the combination of twisted willow and candles wouldn’t really be very safe!!

Gorgeous tablescape and I love the colors. Your terrarium is wonderful, and the flowers and little bird are just perfect. Makes the most amazing cloche. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

Suzy, where did you get those placemats? Are they rectangular or square? They appear to be rectangular. I have some similar ones that are square, but I'd love to get some that are rectangles. Very cool! Love the plates, too! Even better that you caught them on sale!

I love your polka dot plates! Very cute. The wicker chargers are really nice too and work well with the curly willow. Your table looks lovely. I'm visiting from A Delightsome Life. Blessings, Pamela

Very pretty, fresh and natural! Love it. Polka dots are just so sweet. I know exactly what you mean about colors coming out totally different in photos! Can be frustrating. :) I am new follower!

Love the blue.. those are darling new plates. Anything with polka dots is a winner in my book. The twisted willow is really pretty down the center of the table. As for things changing color.. I have some off white candles that turn absolutely almost yellow in a photo. Your table is absolutely stunning!

As for the gold/red/green napkin.. it's one napkin with ruffled trim on the edges!
Have a blessed week.. xo marlis

Very pretty! I love the twigs they give your table such a natural feel. The contrast to the polka dots (which I also love) is wonderful. Very fun!

LOVE browns and blues together (same color combo I used this week!) and there is nothing as cheerful as polka dots! The hydrangeas look fabulous in the bird cage, and I love the way you added natural elements, too!
