Putting a spring in my step!

Spring is well and truly in the air here today. I love spring but I hate the hot drying winds that seem to start once we hit October and they started yesterday. Thankfully we had some rain last week for our crops. I thought the dresser in the kitchen needed to have a much lighter look so I played around with some pretty fresh green which I added to the white that was already there. A much lighter and fresher look for the warm days ahead.
This is what it looked like for winter….

And here is the new look!! I just love that gorgeous polka dot china…it comes in many different colours. Maybe I ‘need’ to pick some up in the after Christmas sales (how scary is that!!).

The soft white balls are off a shrub in the bush near our home. They were naturally just a natural brown colour so I lightly spray painted them white to soften them up a little.
Even though this isn’t really a tablescape I’m planning on joining lots of weekly parties (hope the tablescape police don’t get me!!)
I’m off to redecorate my sister’s gift shop tomorrow….should be good fun with all the new stock arriving.

Your hutch is simply gorgeous. I love the colours you chose and I, too have the three-tiered white stand. I am a lover of white dishes. Deb (Ontario, Canada)

Let's call it a hutchscape! Lol!
Lots of lovely china and it does look really nice with the green mixed in!
You have tea mugs in your post, so I am fine with that : ) Let's see if you get a ticket from the tablescape police Lol!
I love how you have such a nack with decorating. You really are very good at it! You just seem to know what to put with what.
Hugs,
Terri

Let's Dish is about dishes and this surely fits in, so no ticket from me.
Who are the tablescape police? I do dislike going to a tablescape party and seeing pics of blouses or shoes though!
Love your hutch, Happy Spring to you!

You are so funny with the tablescape police! Painting your balls from the bush was a great idea. In my mind decorating a gift shop sounds so exciting and so much fun, but I'm guessing it is really a ton of work! Coming over from Let's Dish, where all posts with dishes are just the thing! Linda
