Sunday morning at the garden centre.

Last week when Mr FH and I were babysitting our two grandsons we decided to take them out for morning tea to a nearby nursery. Actually, the truth is the noise levels were getting a bit high so we took them out to share them around!! Do you ever do that?? We had a lovely morning just wandering around this pretty nursery in the dappled sunlight. We loved all the quirky little featured the staff had added to the displays. The huge established trees were magnificent.

Here’s our two little boys – not sure about this giraffe.

This is where we had our morning tea. Sorry no photos- I was busy trying to make sure there weren’t any spillages.

We have just noticed our neighbours at the beach house have planted a Ficus  like this on our fence line. Somehow I think we need to talk!!

What a great idea this was….little kids riding bikes all over the place and just so happy to be there with Mum and Dad.
What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning.

What a lovely post crammed full with garden ideas and beautiful vignettes. Cute idea for the kiddie bikes. Funny for me is the directional sign with "TOILETS" with the plants!

What a fabulous garden centre. I've seen boots planted before, but not the toes too!

What an awesome place and what a great place to take the grands. I would certainly love to spend the day here. I, now, know what I will do with my youngest daughter's (46) tricycle.
Thanks for sharing this enchanting place.

Oh what a lovely place, and it's so cool that they make it "kid-friendly!" Definitely speak with your neighbor about the ficus tree. In our last home, a small neighborhood of townhouses, there was a ficus tree or two in each front yard. They have very invasive roots & will get into your sewer/septic system, break sidewalks and driveways, and just cause all kinds of havoc. We were lucky to convince our HOA to get them all removed, but not before several people had major damage caused by the trees. Good luck with that!
