Woodland Tablescape

We nearly have our cropping programme finished for this year. Boy, have we been busy. It is really hard for Mr FH and I to run our 7300 acre farm without any help. I try to help as much as I can but I must admit farm work isn’t my favourite thing to do!!! Hopefully the next few years will be kind to us and we can enjoy some travel time together.
I set a very quick table this week after I had purchased this gorgeous woodland fabric which was perfect for a tablecloth. I already had the china which was only a setting for 4 so I mixed and matched to stretch it to seat 6.  I had purchased the candlesticks on clearance during the summer holidays and I just love the colour and finish. Napkins are form a pack of teatowels I have used before.

I enjoyed setting this earthy table ready for winter. I can see myself serving up large bowls of warm soup to family and friends here.
Happy Monday!

This is wonderful. I love the fabric and your dishes look great on it. I tend to extend my china at times too! It's so smart to buy things that work together. Have fun farming... xo marlis

The art of mixing and matching is not to be taken lightly. You did an excellent job of it here, Suzi! Everything is so beautifully coordinated!

Your china is such an unusual and pretty color! I love the soft green you have mixed it with. How did you ever find flatware to match? It all looks lovely

What a great tablescape. I love the china, mixing and matching is so great to get that different look for the seasons. Your cloth really accents the dishes. I am your newest follower coming all the way from little Alabama. Kathy
