Easter table with a twist!

I was talking to my daughter last week and I remember telling her there are no rules in decorating. You do what you like and if you are happy that is all that’s needed. This got me thinking about an Easter table…
I started to think of all the components that were ‘essentials’ for a proper Easter table. Bunnies, baskets, flowers, grass, eggs and a place set for company.
Just to be different I chose a non-Easter colour.

Yes, I think I have it all covered. As you can see I had this table set in the late afternoon – the shadows really accentuated the gorgeous texture on the bunny and the bunny plate.

This is why I love you, Suzy! I am giving you a standing ovation right here, right now in my office. I am SO proud of you for "going there" with these non-traditional colors!!!!!!!!! Super duper!!! I love your dish combination on that incredibly pretty & delicate-looking placemat, and the raised texture of that top plate is just too cool. I give you a solid "10" for this one!!!

The bunny plates are so sweet, absolutely adorable! Where in Western Australia do you live, Perth? Hubby and I were lucky to spend a month in Australia on vacation. It was many years ago now, but I remember it like yesterday. Happy Easter!
