A little French cafe

I’ve been having fun for the last 3 days…. working at my sister’s gift shop. She has gone to Melbourne with her husband buying new giftware and I’ve been in charge of their gift shop, nursery and coffee shop. Friday was one of their busiest days ever…. I was exhausted!! I don’t need to work in the cafe too much (which I am glad about!) but I did need to keep the gift shop and nursery running while the others were busy. I have been making new displays and today I’m showing you the little ‘French Cafe’ I set up in the window. I gathered up anything that ‘looked French’. You know, black wrought iron, Eiffel Towers, wire cloches and anything else I could find to bring the display together.
As you can see, we had just had a lovely shower of rain. We have had the driest July for many, many years so today’s rain was very welcome.
I have one more day to work (Thursday) to finish off and find homes for all those little things that don’t seem to belong! There always seen to be lots of those left at the end of the day!

I’m off to my ‘real job’ at school tomorrow and Wednesday so I’m hoping for a couple of more relaxing days!!

It's beautiful! Love that you allowed the napkins to overflow the plates and the colors are so serene...this display would definitely bring me in for a closer look :~)

Great Frenchy table! I love the tour and the adorable tea towels. I do believe there is a similar graphic over at Graphics Fairy. I looked at it and would love to do something like that. This table makes you want to sit, chat and sip coffee.
Thanks for sharing. Ginger
