Crumpets with honey!

You know what I like about winter?? A yummy toasted crumpet covered in dripping honey......

I recently purchased this tray online - it is part of a set of two. The other is really big - not sure if I'll be able to lift it with anything stacked on it but they were only $29 for the two.

I made this pretty napkin out of a piece of Debbie Mumm fabric I had in my stash. It does have little bee skips on it but it looks like I've folded them under. LOL

My mum gave me this cute honey/jam pot ages ago. Love that little lid.

I've used a pretty yellow quilt under the tray to make it look really special.

That's how I like my crumpets - just a little brown on top so they are crunchy!

A little book of wonderful verses finishes off the tray.

Sometimes I need a little sugar in my black tea so I have tucked a blue sugar stick into the napkin.

How good does this look????  Pure indulgence! It sure doesn't take much to make me happy!

Hello Suzi,
What pretty trays and tea setting! I love the trio you are showing today. The shape of the cup is fab and the rippled style so elegant. It is a pretty color as well, and must match with just about anything.
Hugs,
Terri

Hope you ate every bite for it looks so scrumptious! The tray is a wonderful idea to use for it is so portable. I love your trio with the yellow rim and ruffles. The lovely napkin is a pretty print and makes it festive.

Hi Suzy,

I'm your newest follower! This post is so pretty! Your napkin is so cute -- my sister loves Debbie Mumm. I really enjoy your tablescape posts. I have never been to Australia, but would love to see it. My husband's uncle went to Australia and New Zealand two years ago, and really enjoyed it! My husband and I are big fans of the Lord of the Rings movies; the scenery is just awesome. Please stop by and visit my blog if you have a chance. I usually try to participate in Tablescape Thursdays. Have a great weekend!
