Lunch with the birds!

We have just had the outside of our house painted and it looks so nice and clean. As we haven't had any rain and lots of dust all summer things were looking very dull. I have been cleaning my porch (still have new chair covers to make so I can't show you yet!) so today while I was out there sweeping I thought I'd put together a bright and sunny tablescape.

The little birdhouses were in the after-Easter sales and very cheep!! I made the napkins out of craft fabric and everything else I really had in my cupboards or around the house. Oh, the coffee mugs were in a set of 4 for $10 from Kmart.

Awesome deal from Kmart! Green apple anything is my favorite. Love your rose tea cups in your blog banner. My beloved Granny Annie gave me a tea set in this pattern, thus starting a lifetime of collecting. Thanks for posting. ~CJ

The coffee mugs really are cute! and i love your choice of fabrics for the napkins! I really must start making my own napkins. I've seen so many gorgeous ones made by friends here on the blogs, and I've been meaning to do it for a year!
