Marty's Cloche Party

Today I wanted to share with you this cute little minature tea set I have and the perfect place to show it was under a cloche at Marty's party!

The tea set was hand painted for me many years ago by a friend and I have managed to keep it safe from little fingers.

The teapot and sugar bowl both have removable lids and have the rose painted on both sides. I have placed it on a white side plate with gold trim as I thought this brought out the gold edging on the tea set.

The glass dome is actually off a lovely mantle clock but it was the perfect fit to cover the tea set.

I have placed my sewing thimble next to the tea set so you can really see how tiny it is...

Thanks Marty - have a happy Easter!!

PS Thought I'd pop over and join Cindy at My Romantic Home for show and tell..

Oh my gosh -- I can't believe what a steady hand and keen eyes would be required to paint something so teeny tiny. What a good friend!
