I set the table with my vintage dinner set (our wedding china from 34 years ago!) and used some gorgeous brown spotted teatowels I had bought and cut up to make napkins. This was looking ok but this is where I started to wander - hence the next photo of the lovely winter-blue sky!!

PS. I have been MIA a bit lately - my girlfriend sadly lost her mum last week and also Mr FH and I hosted our family Xmas in July (yes, I know it's August!) at the beachhouse so life has been a bit hectic. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon.

Very snazzy table setting, Suzy. I like using lemons too for lots of things besides lemonade and cooking. Great post! Thanks for joining Tea Time today.

really enjoy your photos and layering~
Calling by as an Outdoor Wednesday participant today although I could not see if this is the right post but I certainly enjoyed the lemons table scape, so attractive with the brown china!
Absolutely lovely! Love the dark chocolate with the lemon yellow.
Great looking table and love the browns!
What a cute idea! I love the contrast of yellow and green against the brown table decor. Beautiful!
Hi, Suzy! So sorry to hear of the passing of your friend's mother. I can only imagine how difficult that must be for her. Meanwhile, it is good to see you back! I love the brown and yellow combo. The bits of creamy white help to temper it, and it looks fantastic. LOVE the napkins and how you tied them up with that pretty little piece of ribbon! Great job!!! Welcome back!
A beautiful, beautiful post with incredible photography! So vibrant and full of life.
Rosemary...
Really stunning. Love the ribbon on the napkin ring. So glad you came to the party!
Great color combination of the chocolate and lemon. The polka dot napkins layered with the yellow really pop and I like your vase with the lemons holding the stems of the tulips. All very retro-chic.
