Spare tablescape!!

Hopefully life is starting to get back on track again. As yet I haven’t had time to set a lovely table but that will come…luckily I had a ‘spare’! Didn’t your mum always tell you to have a ‘pair and a spare’? Somehow I don’t think she meant a spare set of photos though.
My ‘spare’ table was set with some lovely black and white tablemats I bought on sale somewhere. Usually I can remember details like that but I think I have overload at the moment…(I have some exciting news to share with you soon, I hope!) so I’m not even trying to remember. In fact I need to have a quick look at the photos just to refresh my memory on what I did actually use. OK let’s have a look…

I have been wanting some black stemmed champagne glasses for ages and recently found these at Big W. Three glasses (not sure why there was three) for about $8!! Perfect. I had also recently purchased two sets of four of this great flatware – it was originally $60 per set and was reduced to $15. The handles are unbelievably long but I think it is really great for a change. I will probably take this to the beach house to use as they match everything there a little better than at the farm house.
I spray painted some small terracotta planters with blackboard paint to use as candleholders. I love that stuff! Not sure what I’ll paint next but I’m sure I’ll find something.

Hello Suzi, I am excited for you and I don't even know what it is! :)
I wish you the best in it!
Your 'spare" table setting is fab...black and white! My favorite thing you mixed in are the napkins. They really make a great contrast with the toile style napkins.
Hugs,
Terri
