Breakfast At Our House

I can't believe that this time next month Christmas will be over....... I have been away for 3 days this week. I had to go to Perth (our capital city) for a specialist appointment as I have had a bleed in my eye (8 times actually!) so I was getting a bit concerned but thankfully after lots of tests everything has turned out OK so now I can concentrate on Christmas!  I managed to do a bit of shopping in Perth then travelled on to our beachhouse and spent a night there organising security screens and pool cleaners so I hope things are going to be ready for Christmas.
I purchased a new Christmas tree and lots of gorgeous decoration in silver. I have that already decorated and windows cleaned and all linen washed - I also found a couple of prints for the spare bedrooms which I will show you soon.

Last Sunday we had just the perfect weather so I prepared a lovely Sunday morning breakfast table outside. I decided to place the table straight on the lawn instead of using the pergola. The outdoor setting is one I picked up off the road near our unit in Perth one day (actually SNo 1 helped me and he was sooo embarrassed!) but I love the curly legs it has. It is getting a bit wonky but that makes me like it even more!!
I have used a raggy quilt I made a while ago as the cloth and just added lots of pretty bits and pieces - most of these you have seen before but they still make a pretty table.

Pull up a chair and I'll get you some fresh fruit and a cup of tea!!

Have a lovely week and I hope all your Christmas plans are coming along nicely. I'm making lists each day and have all the tizzy things sorted now I just need to concentrate on the food (that makes me nervous!).

Hi Suzy,
I'm glad there is nothing seriously wrong with your eye!
Your table is just gorgeous! I love the colour combination of pink, green, and white! It's one of my favourites and your white flowers in the pink pitcher are so pretty making the whole table so inviting. Love the use of the quilt too! A very cozy table! Seems funny that you are able to enjoy a lovely outdoor breakfast with Christmas on the way. We are starting to get the white stuff here where I live! Thanks for sharing and have a lovely week.

Blessings,
Sandi

How nice to have an outdoor breakfast, and such a pretty pink table setting. Loved your raggy quilt as the table cover. I've featured a quilt in my post for today, too. I use quilts for table cloths every day on every table. I really enjoyed my first visit to your blog.

Glad it was good news on the eye...Did you get over to the Freo-markets on your shopping trip...I miss the crepes vendor over there so much and always loved poking around the booths.

Your table is gorgeous and I love the soft pink and white motif, and good find on that table...hehe@embarrased son.

I have not even begun Christmas yet...Maybe this weekend I might get a chance to think about it.

Blessings Kelsie

Hi Suzy,
Joining you for the first time today courtesy of the Lady Katherine.
Your table is wonderful, the quilt is so pretty and sets off your eclectic mix of china beautifully.
What marvellous photographs you took, I could just imagine pulling up a chair and sharing a cuppa with you, in the sunshine.

Pink and green looks so fresh and pretty -- quite a departure from what we are seeing here in the States this time of year! Hope you eye is going to be fine -- it's always scary when there is a problem like that.

First, glad to hear your eye is doing better. I know how distracting that can be when you're not feeling well. Second...Perth. Isn't that the hometown of the late actor Heath Ledger? Being from the U.S., I'm afraid that's really all I know of Perth. Third, GORGEOUS tablescape!!! I love the pink! It's all so pretty, so feminine, so perky!!! With the lovely weather you're having (compared to our temperatures in the 'teens), it is the perfect setting! It makes me long for summer days! Beautiful!!!
