I have come to the conclusion that I really just love the beautiful soft colours of Easter. The beautiful pastels are just so restful and some of the Easter mantels and tables around blogland have been just amazing. I set a buffet table for a simple lunch with some cute egg shaped plates I bought in the after-Easter-sales. I used blue and yellow so my little grandsons could share in the fun. The plates are melamine so perfect for little people!! I have the same plates in pink and green which I have added to my kitchen dresser but I have too many photos so I will share them next week.
Tomorrow I am starting my walking regime (again!!). I am sure I have eaten more chocolate than any other person I know!!

Love the blue and yellow combination! So pretty! Thanks for sharing! :)
Beautiful post. Such bright and cheerful colors. Love it. I love the cute bunnies. I am not ready to put away my little bunnies. Thanks for sharing. Karie
Beautiful vignette! I love the colors! I have a new weekly link party which is live now and I would love if you stop by and link up this wonderful post! Hope to see you there! http://mariaelenasdecor.blogspot.com/ Hugs, Maria
I'm visiting from the Tuesdays at our Home party. So glad I found your blog! This vignette is beautiful. I love the color combination and I really like those egg shaped plates. I bet I've eaten as much chocolate as you...maybe more! :) Time for me to get back to exercising too.
Love the blue and yellow together, such a pretty combination. Thanks for sharing at the Cabin.
Everything is so bright and pretty
Oh this is so pretty, I love the blue and yellow, such a lovely vignette. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Beautiful Easter vignette - love the colour scheme! Greetings from sunny S-E Qld♥ ~Pernilla... your newest follower :)
I just love blue and yellow -- it's all so fresh and fun! Smart idea on those cute melamine dishes for the little ones. I have melamine Christmas dishes, but I really should look for some others, too.
I love the pastels of Easter too. Your post is just perfect with your Easter vignettes. Glad you had a wonderful day with your family.
I love love love this tablescape. The wire basket with the dishes is creative, instead of the same old place setting. Very creative...
XO,
Christine
Whenever I see blue and yellow together I think of my mom. That was her favorite combo for the kitchen....and your tablescape is beautiful with those colors!
So YOU'RE the one who ate all the chocolate bunnies!!! I didn't get a bite of even one bunny ear this year!
This is a gorgeous display, Suzy, and what pulls it all together is that wonderful tablecloth! I had a dress made of a similar fabric of which I was very fond back when I was a little girl. Looking at this tablecloth brings back memories of how pretty I felt wearing it.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your Easter weekend at the beach house!
This is a very pretty vignette! I'm liking the blue, yellow and white colour combo and that bunny is so cute - I've got a thing for white bunnies of late. You couldn't have eaten more Easter chocolate than me!!
DD
So sweet, I love the way you choose just 2 of the many traditional Easter colors and created such a peaceful setting, perfect for the beach too. Lovely!

Super cute! I love the fresh colors and that tablecloth! The white bunny is precious! I agree the pastels are a soothing color. Great job!
Great color combination! Those plates are so interesting and I love the bunny! I am on chocolate overload, as well. We all say that we buy it for the children, but we are liars, all - lol!! Somehow, I end up buying the kind I like each year - hahahaha!!
Pastels are, indeed, the colors of spring and there's no better time than the Easter season to incorporate them. I would have eaten more chocolate, but the kids beat me to it!
Oh your plates are wonderful! How pretty your color combination is. I'm sure your grands were delighted!
Love your color choices. So crisp, clean and pretty.
Suzy, love the blue and yellow. The egg plates are so fun and I love your bunny and eggs! Thanks for sharing your lovely table with Share Your Cup.
