Tuesday Tea Time

Today is Tuesday and there is a million tea parties on around blogland!! The bookshelf that is in the corner of my familyroom was once filled with books (of course!) until this urge to collect beautiful china seemed to take over my life...I'm sure you know what I mean. The books were packed away and the shelves were transformed.

The top shelf is filled with Bunnikins china that my adult children had when they were small.

Next to this is my pretty floral clock which was a gift from a friend.

This display of silk roses takes centre stage on the second shelf.

Pink and white floral china sits beautifully on the third shelf - you will have seen some of this china in my tablescapes before.

Purple pansy china (another passion of mine) fills the fourth shelf. You will notice also that I have the same teapot, creamer and sugar bowl but in two colours - it's so hard when you just can't decide...

Now the last shelf is filled with old silver tableware but I have noticed how it needs a clean so you'll just have to imagine that! LOL

I'm off to join the tea parties!

Love all your pretty things! What a great idea, to display the children's china like that! You've given me an idea to try something similar in the guest room my grandchildren use when they visit. Thanks!
